10 Worst Movies Starring Wrestlers (That You Probably Haven't Seen)

1. Roddy Piper – The Mystical Adventures Of Billy Owens (2008)

When I initially heard that Roddy Piper starred in a film about a boy who discovered he could do magic on his 11th birthday, I couldn't believe that I had missed the Hot Rod in Harry Potter. I saw all the movies, after all, and even watched some of them multiple times. So where exactly was he?

Well, of course, the answer is that he wasn't. He was instead in this Canadian knock off that is so cheap, rushed, and tacky, I was legitimately surprised that Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash didn't pop up for a cameo.

In this film, Piper is basically the Hagrid character, and to his credit, he seems to be having fun hamming it up in what can only be described as a travesty of film-making. The movie is incomprehensible, which is understandable since it was probably shot by a group of people who thought Harry Potter was neat and were trying to recreate it from memory, without infringing any copyright.

If you're really curious, just watch the trailer. But don't bother with the flick. It's not entertainingly awful – it's just annoying.
