1. CM Punk (AEW Championship, 3 Days)
CM Punk came back to wrestling after seven long years away, only to be done with the sport once again after just a year. Whatever way 'Brawl Out' is analyzed, it can't be overlooked that it may have been the last time the 'Straight Ege Superstar' appears in a wrestling company, which is a huge shame for the whole industry.
His final act as an in-ring performer saw him win the AEW World Championship, which would have presumably seen him carry the title to Full Gear 2022 where he would have faced MJF, dropping the title to his young nemesis. Instead, Punk was stripped of the title, like The Elite, except he has not returned to recapture his gold.
Even before the events that came after All Out, the build to the World title match between Jon Moxley and CM Punk was strange. Moxley squashed Punk in his return from injury, leading to a rematch at the pay-per-view where the 'Voice of the Voiceless' would theoretically be a hometown favorite.
The muddied waters of the heel/face dynamic and Punk's underwhelming hometown reaction were only the beginning of a tumultuous night that would be his last in AEW.
