10 Worst WCW Main Events Ever

10. Superbrawl 2000 - Jeff Jarrett vs. Scott Hall vs. Sid Vicious

Jeff Jarrett, Scott Hall and Sid Vicious had some big shoes to fill in the Superbrawl 2000 main event. After all, they were going on right after a match that tore the house down in Hulk Hogan vs. Lex Luger.

All right, sarcasm out of the way (for now), the three men were doomed to put on something bad in the main event. It was unavoidable. Hall and Jarrett could work, but they were given under eight minutes for their match, which also featured four refs being knocked out and Roddy Piper coming out to restore order all within that time frame. Oh yeah, and Sid was there, meaning Scott and Jeff would have to bust their asses even moreso than usual to carry him.

It was a giant, unsatisfying match, one that could easily have taken place on Nitro. No one would have thought the company was idiotic had they given that thing away for free.

The bout ended with Sid winning the World Title. In the year 2000. For comparison’s sake, one week later in the WWF, Triple H defeated Cactus Jack in a fantastic Hell in a Cell match. Keep in mind both companies charged the exact same amount of money to watch their shows.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
