10 Worst WWE Draft Selections Ever
6. Pick 10, 2008 (SmackDown): Mr Kennedy
Though he had begun making a name for himself on Raw, Mr Kennedy found himself lost in the shuffle after being replaced in the 'Mr McMahon's illegitimate son' story. We all know how well that turned out.
A move to SmackDown was exactly what was needed, offering Mr Kennedy the chance to revitalise himself with fresh talent to work with. Instead, the fifth annual WWE Draft proved to be the beginning of the end of Kennedy's WWE tenure.
Although not entirely WWE's fault, Mr Kennedy experienced one of the shortest runs on any brand after being selected in the 2008 Draft. Picked on 23 June to return to SmackDown where he had found early success, Kennedy dislocated his shoulder on August 4 and was sidelined for the remainder of his blue brand tenure.
Following the injury, Kennedy would make one appearance on SmackDown (November 28) before being drafted back to Raw as part of the 2009 Supplement Draft. A wonderful display of frivolous drafting, that.
