10 Worst WWE Draft Selections Ever

4. Pick 1, 2010 (SmackDown): Kelly Kelly

Let's preface this by saying that Kelly Kelly is the worst first selection ever. The WWE Draft was a tad different from others given it was a kayfabe 'random' draw, but Kelly f***ing Kelly is probably the most random selection there could have possibly been.

If WWE was trying to prove that absolutely anybody can be selected at any time during the draft, it certainly did so with this choice. However, that doesn't mean it should have happened.

To put it into context, Kelly Kelly wasn't even one of the more prominent Divas at the time of her selection. In a time when WWE's female wrestlers were broadly untalented, generally ex-models, and matches were lucky to span for three minutes, Kelly Kelly was no more than a plodder that had lost multiple championship opportunities.

With that in mind, you can imagine the surprise when her name was read out as the first bloody pick in the 2010 Draft.

As anybody could have predicted, her SmackDown tenure was awful. She didn't win a single title and her most notable achievements were a failed relationship with Drew McIntyre and dull altercations with Vickie Guerrero. It wasn't until she returned to Raw in the 2011 Supplement Draft that she won her first and only championship.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
