10 Worst WWE Money In The Bank Cash-Ins

The great John Cena calling his shot and then choking in the clutch against fan darling CM Punk might have been on the list of best cash-ins had it not been for a certain interference from a certain Big Show. A failed cash-in doesn't necessarily mean a bad cash-in when it benefits the story and the performers involved; this did neither.

Had Punk gone over clean, in another Match Of The Year candidate that we know these men can have, Punk's already sky-high stock would have been blasted off into orbit. As it happened, WWE pressed the 'release The Big Show into the arena and see if he's face or heel' button, causing a disqualification and a complete waste of the briefcase.

Cena doing the honourable thing and announcing the match ahead of time, and CM Punk outlasting and outthinking him on the night, as he did at the previous year's Money In The Bank match, would have been a much more satisfying outcome. Bear in mind, this was the first time that a briefcase holder had failed to win the belt, and the overpushed Cena was the perfect choice to be that first.
