10 Worst WWE Money In The Bank Cash-Ins
7. Sheamus (Survivor Series 2015)
When Sheamus put Roman Reigns down to close out Survivor Series 2015, it was quite the spectacle. Reigns had just beaten old running buddy Dean Ambrose to claim the WWE World Heavyweight Championship that the final Shield member, Seth Rollins, had vacated due to injury, and the celebrations were in full swing.
Confetti fluttered down from the rafters, covering the ring in colour as Reigns wept in joy at clinching his first world title, only to have his head kicked off by Mr Money In The Bank, ending the night laying despondent on the canvas as the confetti continued to fall. The Authority struck again - their involvement automatically sours this moment like pretty much every other Authority segment ever.
It was a great image, but none of the reactions went anywhere close to the way WWE wanted them to. To start with, the crowd were desperate to see Ambrose beat Reigns, as we were well into Roman=Cena 2.0 at this point. When Sheamus cashed in, robbing Roman of his crowning moment to gain sympathy with the fans, the cheers were astounding. Afterwards, fans realised that Sheamus was an even more nonsensical champion than Reigns, and booed him to the end of another lacklustre run.
