10 Worst WWE Storylines Of The Last 5 Years
6. Alexa Bliss Gets Spooky (2020/21/22/23)
Alexa Bliss' corrupting at the hands of Bray Wyatt's Fiendish alter-ego provided the ThunderDome era with some of its darkest days... and not in the way WWE were likely aiming for.
After being turned to the Dark Side by the demon clown during Wyatt and Braun Strowman's Universal Championship feud, the one-time Goddess soon morphed into something of a creepy, supernatural school girl who possessed the power to transform a WWE ring into a playground and launch fireballs out of her finger-less gloves.
Even when Wyatt ultimately ended up departing the company for a spell, Bliss continued to "torment" the roster with her Fiend-ish new ways, even recruiting a stuffed doll by the name of Lilly who bizarrely managed to turn former MMA fighter Shayna Baszler into a snivelling wreck.
And if you needed an indication as to what the live reaction would've been to these anything but terrifying or tense occurrences, then look no further than the sea of indifference that met Bliss' most recent Uncle Howdy spooky interactions towards the backend of 2022 and start of 2023.
Despite Alexa's spell associated with Wyatt not exactly bringing much bliss, though, WWE still seem hellbent to give us the sequel to one of their biggest narrative flops of the last five years.
