10 Worst WWE United States Champions Ever

1. Bret Hart (2010)

R-Truth's US Title reign is already better than Bret Hart's.

Oh how the pitchforks will be out for that one, but it's the truth (pun intended). There's no way in a million years that the 'Hitman' should've been given a singles belt in 2010. The legend couldn't bump, was coming off a disastrously one-sided beatdown of Vince McMahon at WrestleMania XXVI and had no business wrestling.

His win over The Miz on the 17 May episode of Raw was one of the most embarrassing in the program's long history. It really was. Hart used to be such a world class talent, and he could always work rings around anyone he was sharing the spotlight with. Watching him shuffle around a decade past his prime was excruciating for any Bret fan.

Things worsened when he vacated the title the next week and became Raw's General Manager. His seven-day reign upended Miz's momentum, p*ssed all over a title he would have held with pride in his youth and generally stank the place out.

Who else would you consider to be one of the worst WWE US Champs of all time? Let us know down in the comments!
