Congratulations are in order for Sheamus and Daniel Bryan. They win the award for 'Biggest Missed Opportunity In WrestleMania History', and it wasn't even their fault. Hell, contrary to what Bryan would claim in storylines afterwards, it wasn't even AJ Lee's.

12 months removed from being placed on the 'Mania XXVII pre-show for their United States Title match, Bryan and Sheamus must have been looking forward to tearing the house down to open XXVIII. The World Title epic both sought ended up lasting a mere 18 seconds, and it's still a bitter pill to swallow when re-watching today.

The only reason Bryan vs. Sheamus didn't get the top spot here is because they could have done great things had WWE let them. Seeing a wrestler the quality of Bryan receive 18 seconds of ring time on a show that gave Maria Menounos six should make any fan of the guy feel sick.

That Two-Out-Of-Three Falls match the pair had a month later at Extreme Rules 2012? Yeah, it was needed in Florida.
