10 WrestleMania 34 Mistakes WWE Can't Repeat At 35

1. Getting Cold Feet

Everyone and their mother had braced for a Roman Reigns Universal Title coronation at the end of WrestleMania 34. It was virtually guaranteed that Reigns would vanquish Brock Lesnar, hold that belt aloft and soak up the boos as Michael Cole and crew pretended the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was enraptured.

It didn't happen. WWE got some cold feet instead and had Brock brutalise Roman before walking out with his title.

Hilariously, this infuriated some on Twitter to the point that they foamed at the mouth over WWE teasing something they didn't want before changing direction last-minute. How very dare they line up an unwanted Reigns crowning only to end the night with a heel win. Scrape back any hypocrisy and it's plain to see that WWE actually sabotaged their own booking.

Sometimes, the most logical and obvious outcomes are for the best. Reigns winning would maybe have also saved everyone from the protracted series of rematches he had with Brock throughout 2018. It's key that WWE don't back out of their own plans again this year.
