10 WrestleMania 34 Mistakes WWE Can't Repeat At 35
7. Cutting Away From Meaningful Celebrations
Charlotte Flair ending Asuka's long-running winning streak was one of 2018's biggest stories. It caused the Japanese starlet to suffer endless bumps in the road as she struggled to recover, but it did pave the way for her popular redemption at TLC towards the end of the year.
Why then did WWE think cutting off one of the most memorable wins of Flair's career just so John Cena could be shown drinking beers and making faces was the right call?
It's vital that every single victory WWE book on a show like 'Mania has some dignity. When the camera crew ditched Charlotte to race off towards Cena like excitable TMZ reporters looking for the next piece of dirt, she had none. Given she'd just beaten the unstoppable Asuka, that had to suck.
This year, we'd like to see less of a race to fire through as much content as they can and more restraint from WWE. They literally have like seven hours to work with, so they don't really need to get all antsy about grabbing the next shot.
