6. The Shield Triple Threat

Though we got our first taste of the long-awaited Shield Triple Threat match at Battleground 2016, we’re yet to see that rivalry take centre stage at WrestleMania. And given all the history between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose—both as friends and foe—this is a feud that surely needs to be showcased at ‘Mania at some point or another.

Ever since the faction disbanded in June 2014, the writing’s been on the wall for a Shield Triple Threat, and the pieces very nearly fell perfectly into place in the months preceding WrestleMania 32.

Rollins was the world champion, Reigns was being pushed to the moon as the next top face, though it was Ambrose who had the fans firmly behind him. That dynamic, plus the lengthy backstory, suggested the trio could be on an unofficial collision course for 'Mania—though that collision course soon veered off a cliff, so to speak, when Rollins injured his knee a few months shy of the big show.

The silver lining here is that there’s still plenty of time for this one to take place, as well as the fact that a WrestleMania meeting would more than likely to blow their hurriedly-assembled encounter from Battleground out of the water.
