God bless the poor souls that still believe in Bray Wyatt, who'll never become the top WWE star his biggest fans want him to be.

'The Eater Of Worlds' is damaged goods. His once-captivating cult leader act lost its lustre years ago, and his eventual WWE Championship coronation came far too late, long after the writers had typecast the sweaty swamp warlock as a big-match loser. His pay-per-view record is abysmal. Feud after feud, the former Wyatt Family leader falls, and while his back catalogue is full of momentum-killing losses, his WrestleMania XXX to John Cena remains the most damaging.

Cena effectively defeated all three Wyatt Family members that night. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan interfered on their man's behalf, and Superman fended both off before pinning Bray clean as a whistle. It was a silver bullet to the heart of Wyatt's credibility. Not only had the company completely failed to protect him in any way, but they'd had him and his boys fall victim to one of Cena's most inexplicable burials, and that was it for him. He has never felt like a major force since 'Mania XXX, even after finally winning the big one.
