It's no secret that AEW's women's division could use as much help as it can get. They have enough talent to make it interesting for now, but they would have benefited from bringing in a few more notable names from the start.

Britt Baker and Allie, for example, have been fine thus far, but both have underwhelmed in the ring and haven't the big stars many fans were hoping.

That said, it was genuinely surprising that there seemed to be zero talk of AEW scouting Tenille Dashwood for their women's division last year. She announced her departure from Ring Of Honor in March and could have very well debuted at Double or Nothing in May, but she did not appear.

In fact, it was only after she signed with IMPACT in July that she finally wrestled for AEW at All Out, taking part in the women's Casino Battle Royale. It was reported that she was working with IMPACT on a per-night agreement and likely would be contractually able to appear for AEW, but there has been zero follow-up with the former Emma since then.

Dashwood has been decent in IMPACT but would be even better on a bigger stage, such as AEW. It looks like the ball is in their court and they simply have no interest in using her.
