10 Wrestlers CM Punk MUST Face In AEW

Now, here's a guy with whom CM Punk is all too familiar. It seems to be a running joke now that every major signee to AEW has to have an intro feud with Cody Rhodes, which has made the early days of new superstars feel a little predictable. So, if this were to happen, let's hope it's not right off the bat.

Of course, there is a beautiful history between these two, as both of them have spent time being mired by WWE, but they responded to it in entirely different ways. After Punk left World Wrestling Entertainment, he quit the industry entirely, hanging up his boots and trying to find a new venture, whereas Rhodes pulled them even tighter, reinvented himself and ended up becoming a founder of AEW.

Seeing as they're both such great showmen, you know they'd pull as much as they could out of their past. We've even seen them step into the ring together before, and while it wasn't a groundbreaking encounter, the energy and emotion from seeing them top an AEW event would improve it tenfold.
