It's not hard to see why John Morrison has drawn comparisons to a young Shawn Michaels. The one-time ECW Champion has the same smouldering looks, long hair, and glitzy ring attire, and even started out as part of a successful tag team before going solo.

Morrison found main event opportunities hard to come by in WWE, and despite a couple of stand-out Money in the Bank performances, never captured one of the big two world titles, abruptly leaving the company in 2011 to try his hand on the independent circuit instead.

Some have suggested it was mic skills that separated him from HBK, but the Shaman of Sexy didn't have the same creative freedom afforded to stars of the early Attitude Era, and - thanks to his innovative move-set - it hasn't been an obstacle in winning round the audience.
