10 Wrestlers More Suitable To Main Event WrestleMania 32 Than Roman Reigns

1. Dean Ambrose

Whenever the WWE seems to get even the slightest bit behind Dean Ambrose, the crowd reacts massively. This is a superstar who the WWE Universe is dying to cheer, is dying to support, and who they want to see given a shot at the big time. In terms of active performers, The Lunatic Fringe is the most popular babyface that WWE has at their disposal right now. Maybe it€™s a little bit of a simple way to look at it these days, but wasn€™t it always meant to be that WrestleMania saw the biggest bad guy going up against the biggest good guy, that the nefarious villain was finally brought to his knees thanks to the all-conquering hero? Whilst Triple H can be positioned as the company€™s top heel (even though Kevin Owens is a far better one right now), there€™s no doubt that Ambrose is the most popular active WWE superstar at this point. The fact that the WWE supposedly called an audible to have Ambrose get to the final two of the Royal Rumble last month shows that they know he€™s guaranteed to get the right reaction against Triple H, and the crowd went wild at the prospect of Dean and The Game duking it out during the company€™s over-the-top-rope extravaganza. This is in comparison to the cheers received from Triple H eliminating Roman Reigns in the same match. Whether WWE wants to admit it or not, right now Dean Ambrose is the best option that they have when it comes to opponents for Triple H at WrestleMania. Does that mean that we€™ll get WWE€™s resident madman headlining their biggest show? Sadly, likely not. We can hope, though.
