10 Wrestlers Neville Must Face After Leaving WWE

1. Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega's name sits atop most 'dream opponent' lists these days, and for good reason.

'The Cleaner' is a legitimate wrestling genius. His recent classics with Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, and Tetsuya Naito are defined not only by expert psychology, athleticism, and technique, but a level of creativity unmatched by anyone else on the planet. From countering Okada's Rainmaker by collapsing through exhaustion to DDTing Naito onto the ring post, from the top rope, Omega creates never-before-seen spots like it's nothing, and he'd work wonders with someone as skilled as Neville.

They're not a million miles apart stylistically, either. Neville's fundamentals are a little tighter, and Kenny is more innovative, but both can fly, grapple, and strike. Give these two 25-30 minutes in a prominent main even spot and there's no doubt they'd come close to hitting five-stars, or perhaps shatter Meltzer's rating system entirely, as Omega is prone to do.

This one deserves the grandest possible stage. Nobody does big, dramatic bouts better than NJPW, and Neville would make an outstanding IWGP United States Title defence for Omega, who has only put the belt on the line once since capturing it on July 2nd.
