10 Wrestlers Next In Line To Win WWE Championship
7. Riddle
It is without question that Riddle is the WWE Superstar who has raised his stock the most in the last 18 months. After an up and down first year on the main roster, The Original Bro formed one of the most unlikely tag teams in WWE history in RKBro. During the stretches where The Viper has been out of action, the former UFC fighter has earned his spot as one of the top babyfaces in the company.
Following last months loss to Roman Reigns' on SmackDown, Riddle can not, at least for the time being, challenge The Tribal Chief for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Despite this, WWE clearly has big plans for Riddle whether it be continuing his partnership with The Legend Killer, or on his own once the two inevitably go their separate ways.
With the current state of WWE's main event scene, Roman Reigns seems poised to hold on to the WWE Universal Championship for quite a while longer. No matter who ends up defeating The Head of the Table, Riddle should be more than ready by that time to catapult his way to the top of the WWE, winning his first heavyweight title soon after.
