10 Wrestlers Other Wrestlers Were Scared Of

4. André The Giant

Get the mammoth André The Giant to the bar, put a drink in his hand and call him "Boss", and you'd likely get on with the legend. Drinking stories from his remarkable life are well-told, but there's no doubt the giant struggled with his size, health and the attention his massive frame garnered everywhere he went.

He also wasn't fond of those who didn't respect the locker room.

Bruce Prichard told on his podcast how André wasn't fond of working with The Ultimate Warrior, especially when he found out that Warrior wasn't trying to fit in with friends backstage. When they wrestled a series of house show matches on a tour loop, the giant made sure to let 'Wa-yee-ah' know not to f*ck around by stiffing him and generally being uncooperative with the babyface sensation's comebacks.

Others knew that André could be a handful if he didn't like you. Get on the wrong side of the big guy and you were going to have a rough night. That was just the way it was, and that (along with his immense stature) made Warrior and more terrified of working with him.
