10 Wrestlers That Bled The Hard Way

1. Becky Lynch (WWE Raw, November 2018)

With some of the glorious happenstance wrestling has provided in the past, it's little wonder many consider every single element of it a work even when the evidence often stacks up in the face of such a silly conspiracy.

The ramifications of Nia Jax errantly breaking Becky Lynch's face were so profound that some could surely argue that the two concocted it for the good of each other and the posited all-women's WrestleMania main event. Not that your writer is attempting to do that here - Jax was obviously too forceful with her fist, but Lynch fortunately had incredible instincts and enough immediate control over her character before being harrassed backstage to make even more than the most out of it.

Forced to miss a planned encounter with Ronda Rousey, fan thirst for Becky to go toe-to-toe with the 'Baddest Woman On The Planet' was intensified by memories of the incredible scene she created the night she lost out on the match.

Swaggering in the crowd with blood-strewn braggadocio, 'The Man' completed the latest and greatest comparison to the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin by creating a genuinely iconic moment from what could have been abject misery.
