10 Wrestlers That Should Ask WWE For Their Release
7. Damien Sandow
Its a mystery how Aaron Damien Sandow Haddad is still employed by WWE. He loitered around WWE developmental under various gimmicks for six years between 2002 and 2012, only managing four months on the Smackdown roster in late 2006, and finally debuted proper as Damien Sandow in May 2012. In that time, hes done almost nothing in the company. Hes won no singles gold, and his Money In The Bank briefcase win was such an afterthought that he was booked to lose his match in a nothing segment on a nothing RAW. None of this is for lack of trying, or for lack of talent either. Sandow is good-to-great in the ring, an experienced and polished veteran with nearly fifteen years experience. Hes dynamite on the mic, and his Lebanese ancestry gives him a unique look in the WWE. Whats better is that he got over with casual and hardcore fans with his Damien Mizdow gimmick, playing Hollywood ego The Miz stunt double, an angle that was never designed to do anything but fill time. There are still cheers for the man every time he manages to claw his way to TV time, and he got one of the best reactions out of anyone on the roster at the Royal Rumble this year, despite having barely appeared for the company for months. But its time for Haddad to recognise that, for whatever reason, WWE doesnt have a single thing going for him anymore. Hes a performer that anyone else could build a business around. Its time to find the business thats prepared to do it.
