10 Wrestlers That Told You They Were Pissed

8. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin had already made no secret of his issues with WWE creative in the early months of 2002, with things escalating enough that he didn't bother with the post-WrestleMania X8 staff party and missed Monday Night Raw the following evening.

Subsequently, this May rant on online show Byte This shouldn't really have come as much of a shock to those internally. That it happened on any kind of public platform was a bit of a bombshell.

As he put it to hosts Kevin Kelly and Howard Finkel;

"The bottom line is everything sucks. I'm not happy with the direction Stone Cold Steve Austin's going, I'm not happy with the direction the whole company's going. I think the writing has been pretty substandard. I'll go one better than that it's been p*ss poor...it's pretty sh*t as a matter of fact and I ain't been happy with what I was doing before WrestleMania, or after WrestleMania or after we speak presently".

Austin later confirmed that this got him in hot water backstage, but it wasn't anything he feared by then - he'd infamously leave outright just a fortnight after this outburst.
