10 Wrestlers Vince McMahon Couldn't Get Over

1. The Nexus

Everybody seemed to enjoy sticking one in at the expense of the flailing and failing Nexus, from Mark Henry out-running half of them during a chase scene, CM Punk forcing them to endure physical and emotional trials after usurping Wade Barrett as the group's leader or John Cena getting his way over a SummerSlam 2010 finish that derailed them for good.

This was at very least not that, but Vince McMahon might have overestimated just how much heat beating the sh*t out of him could realistically generated when Barrett and co destroyed him during their original surge.

Believing himself to safe against their gang attacks, McMahon was in fine mood as a sh*thouse special guest referee having witnessed Nexus see off longstanding rival Bret Hart, but he was next on the list as the group increased their vice-like grip on control of Monday Night Raw.

It was sort of awesome in and of itself, what with McMahon having that stodgy selling energy and the newcomers obviously being told to go big on the big boss. Unfortunately, there was no follow-up beyond a gag several months later where he awakens from a coma due to the heavy losses incurred by wife Linda in her state senate campaign, that itself was was part of a Stephanie McMahon dream sequence.
