10 Wrestlers Wasted In Their Current Promotions

2. Shayna Baszler (WWE)

Shayna Baszler is the female equivalent of Matt Riddle (sans frostbitten feet), and there are real concerns about where her WWE career is going. They're not unfounded either. Recent reports revealed that Baszler has already had promising pushes cancelled three different times in 2020.

Now she's locked in a mini-feud with Nia Jax. Great.

Without being cruel, that's a bad spot for anyone to be in. Jax has proven herself to be reckless in-ring, has had her day in the sun and is barely even useful as a lower-card gatekeeper for the higher female feuds. It's hard to see what Shayna will gain from working Nia on Raw or upcoming pay-per-views before WWE maybe push her into the Raw Women's Title scene.

The company are wasting someone who could be the face of the entire division here. Baszler was good enough to replace Becky Lynch earlier this year, and she's good enough to change into that sneering anti-hero style babyface the place needs now.
