10 Wrestlers Wasted In Their Current Promotions

9. The Viking Raiders (WWE)

As War Machine, these lads were this generation's version of The Road Warriors. Across stints in ROH, New Japan and on the indy scene, they kicked seven shades out of everything in their path and rocked houses as stampeding viking bad asses who could still work spot-heavy matches expected in those companies.

In 2020, they're more likely to pop up in segments that wouldn't look out of place in the 1980s WWF, and that's just sad. WWE's attempt to give Erik and Ivar more personality has resulted in a complete loss of momentum. 2K20's Raiders suck compared to the churning Machine of a few years ago.

Bowling, archery and comedy has ruined them.

Imagine how good they'd be if they were reborn in AEW, New Japan or even Impact Wrestling. Free of McMahon-inspired "good sh*t" skit writing, they'd return to their glory days as one of wrestling's most credible duos. It's hard to see that happening in WWE.
