10 Wrestlers Wasted In Their Current Promotions

8. Kushida (WWE)

Kushida will never be used properly in WWE.

It's a sad state of affairs to even type this, but NXT life hasn't been kind to someone who should, by all rights, fit snugly onto that roster. Instead of becoming a key part of the title hunt though, Kushida has been relegated to playing Cruiserweight fodder and is totally rudderless.

Recently, the former six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champ and two-time Best Of Super Juniors winner has been treading water and bumped down the pecking order towards NXT UK. That, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, is the periphery of WWE's product, and it's hardly befitting of someone with so much talent.

Surely Kushida, comfy contract or otherwise, will soon get bored of WWE life. He could easily return to his native Japan and become a marquee star all over again. That's surely preferable to working short matches on minor WWE programming.
