10 Wrestlers Who Are Almost Unrecognisable Since They Retired
6. Nick Mitchell
After making his WWE debut as part of the $1,000,000 Tough Enough in 2004, Nick Mitchell would go on to make a memorable impact on WWE as Mitch of The Spirit Squad in 2006.
The group of male cheerleaders managed to surpass the expectations of many after their debut. The annoying team of green-clad newcomers got over well as heels. Their run as World Tag Team Champions lasted seven months, and saw them become a big part of weekly TV on Raw.
Despite having a memorable role in the feud between Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels - and subsequently D-Generation X vs. The McMahons - The Spirit Squad soon found themselves shipped off back to OVW... quite literally. After disappearing from TV immediately after that in November 2006, Mitch was released in May 2007.
Since exiting the WWE, Mitchell has been a busy guy. He enjoyed a four year relationship with Torrie Wilson, with whom he opened a fashion boutique business with, and also entered the world of MMA. His one and only MMA bout came in 2010, losing to the also debuting Derrick Lewis by TKO in the second round. Lewis has since gone on to become a successful UFC heavyweight.
With a shaved head, tattoos and a shredded physique, Mitchell looked like a completely different person during his MMA run.
