The efforts of the heroes on this list so far have shown compassion and courage. This entry showcases these traits, plus the superhuman strength of one Chris Mordetzky.

In March 2013, an arsonist broke into the home of Chris' mother Diane and barricaded both of them inside so neither could escape. Masters attempted to get the two out, but the invader threatened to set the house on fire if anyone attempted to intervene. A fire was eventually started and it wasn't long before the Masterpiece took action.

His first priority was getting his mother out of the building. She was caught in a room where the only way out was a window that was blocked by a ten-foot ficus or fig tree. Masters wrapped his arms around the tree and, using nothing but his sheer strength, lifted it from the ground and out of the way so police could break into the house and rescue her.

No one was seriously hurt, although three officers were treated for smoke inhalation and Chris suffered some minor cuts. If Masters hadn't acted so quickly, things would have been very different. They always say that a boy's best friend is his mother.
