Enzo's gimmick was a professional irritant, yet, when he continued to live the gimmick when the camera's stopped rolling, his unprofessionalism saw him hit with nuclear heat. Despite Enzo claiming that the conflict was over not having his voice taken away from him, he had issues with Triple H, Vince McMahon, a list of talent aboard a European tour bus, Arn Anderson, and most famously Simon Gotch, whose beef with Enzo goes way back to a promo class.

It says something of Enzo's character that even JBL referred to him as having been “sprayed with human repellent.”

Despite the above names, Enzo takes no responsibility for his actions. He explained his reasoning to Konnan:

"Honestly, I think that what creates heat is jealousy. I think hate is nothing but love disguised as jealousy. It’s either a relatable quality that you see in that person, or it’s that insecurity that you have within yourself that you feel is necessary to either lash out or talk s**t."

This reasoning has all the credit of a that '90s sign cliche "[BLANK] Fears [BLANK]." We are fairly sure the likes of Triple H harbour zero jealousy for someone remembered only for a catchphrase.
