10 Wrestlers Who Could Be AEW's HUGE Full Gear 2023 Debut

4. Will Ospreay

Goldberg AEW
AEW/New Japan

Here's another that's totally dependent on a New Japan deal.

Will Ospreay has one of those. It's set to run out in a few months, but he's still contracted to the promotion. Perhaps Tony Khan has pulled some strings and called in some favours to get the jump on rivals like WWE and TNA though. Maybe Ospreay is about to become #AllElite for good.

The celebrated all-rounder has been high on AEW for a good while now, and he must've been buoyed by how well Tony booked him heading into a colossal Wembley Stadium showdown vs. Chris Jericho at All In over the summer. That would've been some experience for Will (and this is a guy who's worked Wrestle Kingdom multiple times!).

WWE are often considered frontrunners when free agents pop up/are about to pop up on the marketplace by default, but AEW could well beat them to it with Ospreay. What a signing he'd be. TK could build the entire company around Will.
