The most mistreated member of WWE's Four Horsewomen has suffered in the shadows for too long, but she looked good in the Rumble. Alexa Bliss, Ruby Riott, and the dominant Rhea Ripley all fell to Bayley. While she was never going to win the match, WWE at least presented her in a positive light on their second biggest pay-per-view of the year, which should ideally prime The Hugger for something bigger.

Bayley challenged Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey one night later. She fell, but looked good in doing so. Her and Sasha Banks will likely find themselves added to Elimination Chamber's WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match soon. They'll be favourites to win, but things haven't always been so simple with these two over the past few years, and there's every chance they'll end up falling short.

Regardless of whatever division she occupies for the next few months, Bayley has earned a rebound year. Spurned in favour of lesser wrestlers for too long, her track record is that of a woman capable of going toe-to-toe with anyone at the highest level, and her card position should be reconsidered ASAP.
