10 Wrestlers Who Desperately Need New Finishers
4. Apollo Crews
As bad as WWE's booking has been over the past year, the company's use of Apollo Crews has truly explored new territory in frustrating. Crews was could have been a major player in NXT, but the company called him up to the main roster without a plan. After appearing in approximately no storylines, the fans stopped caring about Crews. Now, he rarely makes it on Smackdown.
Apollo Crews needs more than a new finisher - he needs a creative team that recognizes and knows how to use talent. While they're at it, though, Crews's current finishing move isn't doing him any favors. He currently uses a Spin-Out Powerbomb, which sees him lift an opponent up for a back suplex, throw him up in the air with a spin, and catch him in a sit-out powerbomb.
It's an impressive move, but some real eye candy might help Crews get over more quickly. Back on the independent scene, Crews used a standing shooting star press. Something like that would be more memorable than his current finisher.
