OK, so this might be cheating, but Low Ki was a big enough deal in TNA circles for his disappearance from the mainstream to mean something. The five-time former X Division Champion was actually rehired shortly after the Impact switch; he only lasted between April-August 2017 before leaving again.

Ki then made a one-night return in April 2019.

That flew right under the radar though, and it's rather clear that the excellent striker's time in the sun with major promotions is very-much over. He'll look back on what might've been in WWE (fans might recall his brief alliance with LayCool on the old old NXT), and probably won't get another crack in Impact either.

There was some merit to Ki's Hitman/Agent 47-inspired gimmick when he launched a comeback in 2017, but it didn't click with Anthem chiefs enough to keep him around. Since then, he's been working for MLW and doing his rounds on the indy circuit.
