Somebody call his momma'.

Tyrus was greeted the same way as every other former WWE star who joined TNA when he signed on the dotted line in September 2014. The company trumpeted his arrival as a seismic shift when, in reality, he was another Vinnie Mac cast off (albeit arguably one with untapped potential).

TNA adored the fact that the one-time Brodus Clay was a big dude who could shift in-ring, and it didn't take long before he moved out of his enforcer role beside EC3 and was programmed more as a singles star himself. Yet again though, that potential went unfulfilled.

Tyrus left the rebranded Impact in August 2017. Though he did pop up in the NWA, the big guy has wrestled less than 20 matches for the organisation since signing last year. There's time yet for him to make an impact (ahem) there, but he's totally faded from view in the bigger promotions.
