10 Wrestlers Who Fell Out Of Love With Wrestling

8. John Morrison

John Morrison had it all, a great physique, a marketable look, a strong move-set and a nice connection with the core fan base. Hell, the guy even had a hidden amount of charisma, one which wasn't instantly noticeable, but just look at those backstage skits he pulled when teaming with The Miz. Those weren't all Mizanin, Morrison more than held up his end of the bargain. It all looked to be so rosy in the garden of John Morrison, but somewhere along the line it all went sour. Even as late on as the latter months of 2011, right before the man left the company, WWE were featuring Morrison as an upper-card star. It looked for all the world like he was so close to cracking the main event mix, but instead the guy decided he'd had enough of working for the promotion and would be happier elsewhere. Wrestling fans of all ages were left baffled, with WWE management leading this charge of confusion. It's quite rare for a performer to outright tell the biggest company in all the land that they've had enough and need to get away from it all for a while, most people crave the spotlight WWE can provide, but Morrison wanted to both heal up injuries and start having fun with wrestling again.
