Ted Dibiase, who many consider to be one of the best wrestlers ever that was never WWE Champion, is a religious man. Chances are if you read an interview he does, meet him in person at a signing or just do a search of his name you will find that he's very open about talking about God. When he retired from the wrestling business in the mid-1990s, he became a Christian minister. Head to MillionDollarMan.com and you can read all about his Heart of David Ministry. Here's how Dibiase explained his change on his website: "At the height of a tremendously successful professional wrestling career, I enjoyed what fame and fortune brought me. However, I found myself empty and unhappy. I filled my life with drugs, alcohol, and adulterous affairs. At the end of my rope, and very nearly losing my wife and family, I fell in love with Jesus when I was told that He would forgive me and restore me, in spite of the countless times I had turned my back on Him. Not only did He forgive me and restore me, He restored my marriage and my family as well, and I have been in passionate pursuit of pleasing Him ever since." His story is similar to a lot of wrestlers that changed their ways. Life on the road was tough, he turned to alcohol and drugs, he wasn't a good husband and he realized he needed to do things differently. Kudos to him for not only finding the right path, but for having a willingness to help others as much as he does.
