10 Wrestlers Who Got Hit With A Car (And WHO DID IT!)

4. Roman Reigns (By Erick Rowan)

When Roman Reigns nearly met his maker via speeding car, it brought about the end of one storyline without really starting a new one.

'The Big Dog' dodged a big box flattening him backstage in a similar near miss a few days prior, and had errantly assumed that Samoa Joe was responsible due to lingering aggro the pair had previously fostered. Their final confrontation proved otherwise - 'The Samoan Submission Machine' was actually the first on hand to shout for help when a car came speeding into Reigns as the duo jaw-jacked in a car park.

The former Shield man was largely unharmed after diving into his own stationary vehicle to avoid the worst of the smash, but the growing Whodunit case yielded the daftest of payoffs. With Daniel Bryan right there as a heel with a motive, the company instead babyfaced him and put blood on Erick Rowan's hands. It was only marginally more effective than putting a spider's cage in them - the superteam of Bryan and Reigns made light work of Rowan and Bludgeon Brother Luke Harper, and the attempted vehicular homicide was never spoken of again.
