10 Wrestlers Who Got TERRIBLE Advice From WWE

5. Randy Orton Needs To Smile More

Randy Orton's appearance on the Steve Austin-led 'Broken Skull Sessions' show was a treasure trove of insightful stories and revelations from the man himself. At one point, Randy told a baffled Austin that WWE asked him to "smile more" during his first World Heavyweight Title run in 2004.

That advice collided with some other requests.

The company also wanted Orton to be menacing and present himself as a worthy World Champ when he was in front of crowds. Which one was it? Was he to grin from ear-to-ear in front of the people, or hold his head up high and do his best Derek Zoolander impression by busting out some 'Blue Steel'?

Smiling loads didn't come easy to Orton, mainly because he'd been playing a cocky young brat heel in Evolution for years before winning the belt. The smiley babyface gig didn't suit him at all, and it came across as totally put on or insincere to fans.
