7. Big Show

'The World's Largest Athlete' participated in an unlikely WWE return in January. He'd been gone for over a year but was recruited as Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe's third man in their ongoing feud with Seth Rollins and AOP, taking a spot originally intended for Rey Mysterio, who was slotted into a reprisal of his and Andrade's old rivalry instead. Show did as good a job as one could expect across his two weeks of activity, though he disappeared into the ether when Rollins' crew overcame him and his boys on 13 January.

Oddly, Show was still being advertised for Raw appearances as recently 17 February. He was at the show but only backstage, his involvement in the storyline over.

In fairness, Big Show's disappearance was planned. The man was reportedly brought in to temporarily fill a spot on a handshake agreement. Having been booked this way for several years now, Show will likely be used in similar patterns until he finally decides to step away from the squared circle, his full-time days well behind him.
