10 Wrestlers Who Have Unfinished Business With WWE Right Now

6. Shinsuke Nakamura

In terms of place on the card (if not necessarily match quality), it's probably fair to say that Shinsuke Nakamura's first 12 months on the main roster have gone better than many of us imagined.

He earned his first shot at the WWE Championship just three months after getting promoted from NXT, and though he ultimately came up short against Jinder in the summer, he only had to wait a short while for another opportunity, this time against AJ Styles.

But therein lies the problem: he's been flirting with the main event for months and is still yet to capture SmackDown's biggest prize. Like Dean Ambrose a couple of years ago, it's pretty much now or never: he either becomes a headline act or slips back down the card, perhaps never to return again.

Personally speaking, as well, you imagine that he feels he has a point of a different kind to prove. Many fans doubted his decision to leave NJPW precisely because they felt his talent wouldn't be correctly utilised in America. Here is his chance to prove them all wrong.
