10 Wrestlers Who Left WWE & Became World Class

8. Doc Gallows

WWE never got Doc Gallows.

Imposter Kane? Didn't work. Festus? No hope. Luke Gallows in the Straight Edge Society? The potential was there, but failed nonetheless. His November 2010 release was inevitable.

You need only analyse November 2010 and November 2020 to fully comprehend what WWE missed out on. A failed role in the infamous Aces & Eights stable in IMPACT was quickly forgotten about when he turned up in New Japan, becoming a three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion with Karl Anderson as a Bullet Club member and generally establishing himself as a big deal.

That both he and Karl were brought to WWE in April 2016 proves how vastly Gallows had turned his career around. Vince McMahon wanted a slice of the pie, only he wanted to do this on his terms. This meant placing them in tedious skits with the New Day - and, oh yes, the Old Day. The Good Brothers' WWE run was worthless.

Now today, in both IMPACT Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling, 'The Big LG' is doing some of the greatest work of his career. As part of an offshoot Bullet Club faction with fellow former members Anderson, Kenny Omega, and the Young Bucks, Doc has been treated as a legitimate star in both promotions. This was never an idea WWE would have ever imagined.
