No list of wrestling couples would be complete without the sport's greatest romance story ever, that of "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Savage came to WWE with Elizabeth as his manager in the mid 80s, and the rising heel was possessive and jealous when it came to his second. When he turned face and won the WWE Championship the two became wrestling's first couple, but Savage's jealousy began to show again. He left Elizabeth for Sensational Sherri, but when he lost a retirement match at WrestleMania VII and Sherri turned her back on him, Elizabeth was there for the love of her life. Fans cried as the two reunited, and they were married at SummerSlam. Unfortunately, things didn't end so happily in real life. Savage and Elizabeth were married in 1984 and they divorced in 1992, only a year after their television wedding. The two continued to work together in WCW - sometimes as a team, sometimes at odds. No matter what, though, they'll always be remembered as a loving pair.
