10 Wrestlers Who MUST Win A Title In 2026
2. Aleister Black
Not everyone can go back to WWE after going to AEW and reach the mountain top like Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, but that should at least be the goal. Certainly, it shouldn't be to run into the same rut that Andrade did, which is where Aleister Black is heading.
He's been strangely allergic to titles since joining WWE in April 2017, with his only true title reign being the NXT Championship almost exactly one year later in April 2018 and nothing since.
After coming back to WWE in April 2025, he's been lukewarm, rather than red hot, and the best way to heat things back up for him is for him to beat Ilja Dragunov for the Men's United States Championship sometime around WrestleMania 42.
Given his booking in recent months and the limited spots on that show, as well as WWE's tendency to leave some titles off the card and Dragunov's title defenses largely being on SmackDown, there is a good chance both are forgotten about for The Grandest Stage of Them All and only wrestling on the Friday night beforehand.
If that's the best they can do, at least a title change would justify it, give Dragunov a worthy successor, and help prevent Black from looking like his best years are behind him.
