5. Bo Dallas

After becoming something of an unexpected hit on NXT as the brilliantly deluded 'Boliever', many felt that Bo Dallas' detestable heel character would translate easily onto the main roster.

However, when he finally showed up on SmackDown and Raw in May 2014, Dallas was quickly met with a sea of puzzled faces and not much in the way of any real reaction after beating Sin Cara twice.

Those in attendance weren't exactly sure whether to cheer or boo the annoying motivational speaker and this confusion eventually led to the former NXT Champion getting lost in the shuffle in the wake of his call-up from the black and yellow brand.

A few years after his introduction fell flat, Dallas would go on to find some small success as part of the Social Outcasts and The B-Team. But, these factions were merely cheap comedy acts and nothing more.

Ultimately, in the six years he's spent on the main roster, Dallas has never been treated as the future top heel he undoubtedly showed he had the potential to be while cutting his teeth in NXT. WWE lost seemed to lose interest as soon as the fans did on his first night and he's been lost in the mid-card ever since.
