6. Andrade

It's 2024 and Andrade still comes up in conversation when fans ponder who could be a breakout star from the midcard. In short, the guy hasn't been anywhere near as much of a success as anyone thought he would be when Andrade and Zelina Vega were one of NXT's most attractive double acts.

Hell, Zelina has done more than Andrade since the NXT days, and she's roundly considered more of a valet than an outright wrestler. 'El Idolo' was stuck in a rut on the midcard before leaving for pastures new in 2021. His two-year AEW run was full of false starts, then he got sick of that and launched a WWE return earlier this year.

Andrade has been on company books again since Royal Rumble, but... what has he really achieved? He's handled business as part of the Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik/Santos Escobar storyline, but hasn't done much aside from that. It's July 2024 and people are still wondering when he'll fulfil his potential.

NXT was his apex run full stop.
