10 Wrestlers Who Perfected A Non-Finishing Move

3. Kane - Uppercut

Triple H Spinebuster
WWE

While he never quite received the acclaim of his 'brother' The Undertaker as an in-ring talent - and probably justifiably so - the Big Red Machine is arguably second only to Big Evil in terms of both the quality of his in-ring work for a man of his size, and his longevity as a solid worker. Particularly in the early 2000's, Kane's peak, his ringwork was genuinely excellent, with all the power moves you'd expect of a monster, as well as a good deal of athleticism too.

One of the many pleasures of watching the Devil's Favourite Demon in his prime and later years was knowing that, once a match, he would uncork his absolute beauty of an uppercut. With a well-concealed chest-slap generating sound to help sell the sickening impact one would expect to come from taking a punch from a man of such gargantuan proportions, the uppercut was a thoroughly satisfying part of the mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Honourable mentions are deserved for Kane's top-rope clothesline, though how a 325 lbs man flying through the air at you with such a strike isn't enough to end a match, but a chokeslam is, is one of the many mysteries of wrestling.
