Nobody could have foreseen the entire planet being locked down in 2020 and this unfortunate reality has left one of AEW's hottest properties stranded in the United Kingdom over the last few months.
Even if 'The Bastard' PAC could find a way to fly over to the states, he would likely have to quarantine for two weeks upon return to England. AEW President Tony Khan has since admitted that this just isn't a sustainable situation for the British star and he probably won't be able to perform consistently on Dynamite until he can safely commute back and forth again.
This is a huge shame as PAC had just introduced the formidable Death Triangle stable - with Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix - to AEW programming, and it was looking like they were set to rip through the likes of The Best Friends and The Elite with his new pals.
As we know very well at this point, things can change very quickly in 2020 and many will be hoping that international travel becomes legitimately safe again before the year comes to a close. Yet, at this moment it looks like AEW are in no rush to put the Geordie in a difficult position, so there's every chance we may not see him on Dynamite again until this hellacious year is in the rear-view mirror.
