B. Brian Blair is best known to older fans as half of the Killer Bees tag team with "Jumpin'" Jim Brunzell, and to newer fans as The Iron Sheik's least favorite erstwhile coworker. In 2002, though, Blair became known to residents of Hillsborough County, Florida, for his political work.

That year, Blair ran for a spot on the county commission as a Republican, but was defeated by Democrat Pat Frank. Two years later, though, he managed to defeat Bob Buckhorn in a close race to become County Commissioner. That seat is the highest-ranking one in Hillsborough County.

Unfortunately for Blair, he couldn't hold onto his seat for long. In 2008, he managed to snag the Republican nomination, but lost the seat to Democrat Kevin Beckner, marking the end of his political career. One can't help but wonder if the experience made him humble.
